Responsibilities and Duties

• We are seeking a Technician to install Security and Smart Home Products in new residential construction neighborhoods. Ideal candidates should be able to learn and adapt quickly, problem solve technical challenges and effectively communicate with clients and teammates. This position requires attention to detail, client interaction, a professional work ethic, excellent wire management skills and a desire to constantly improve yourself. The technology we work with is constantly changing, so we must also adapt quickly to keep pace.
• This position is responsible for installation of all aspects of home security and smart home equipment for our customers. Installing home theater components and effectively demonstrating these components to the customer. Position will require installing of security systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience installing residential Security systems * Network installation and configuration experience
• Applicants must have a good understanding of home entertainment and systems wiring, configuration and troubleshooting * Using hand and power tools to complete terminations of Cat6 cables and coaxial cables, smart home and security devices. * Excellent communication skills; able to communicate with clients and management; strong customer service skills – Detailed, on-your-feet thinker * Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb * Ability to work occasionally in an attic and a crawlspace
• Basic computer and networking skills
• Strong emphasis on customer service
• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able to pass criminal background checks
• Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Training is for $18.00 per hour then you move to Salary at $48,000 to $55,000 per year.
